Heritage Discoverer’s maiden 2027-28 season has been released, as the new ship marks the beginning of the next wave for Heritage Expeditions.
The cruise line’s owners and directors Aaron and Nathan Russ says the season will be a pivotal moment in the Kiwi company’s 40-plus year history. The new vessel (pictured) means the line can resume its renowned High Arctic and Antarctic Peninsula adventures, and add voyages to the European and Atlantic coasts.
“This is the beginning of a new era, and the arrival of a truly global expedition cruise offering for Heritage Expeditions and our guests,” says Nathan Russ.
Among the new itineraries on the ‘new’ the ship (formerly Silversea’s Silver Explorer) are an 11/12-day Antarctic Peninsula Expedition Cruise sailing roundtrip ex Ushuaia, a 12-day Atlantic Shore Odyssey Cruise ex Lisbon to Portmouth and 15-day Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland Arctic Islands Expedition ex Paris to Reykjavik.
