Kiwi agents have returned from their first trip to Fiji, on a famil that was part of the Your Fiji Story Starts Here campaign.
Air New Zealand and Tourism Fiji partnered to take the consultants to the Coral Coast and the Mamanuca Islands, on a Sigatoka River Safari and to visit Malamala Beach Club. Ashleigh Shardlow from Helloworld Lower Hutt says she noted the ‘huge variety’ of accommodation options, ranging from beachfront resorts to luxury properties.
And for her, a highlight was the Sigatoka River Safari. “It was a really authentic experiences and made even more special knowing the company works closely with villages along the river and gives back to the local communities,” she adds.
“The trip was a great reminder of why Fiji is such a popular destination for Kiwi travellers. It’s easy to get to, the people are incredibly welcoming, and there’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for relaxation, adventure or a bit of both.”
