Families are increasingly seeking locations beyond traditional hotspots, and a destination welcoming this growing influx of families is South Korea.

In response to seeing this trend, Inside Travel’s InsideAsia has launched two tailor-made family itineraries for the country. South Korea product manager Becky Barry says the destination is proving popular with families, especially since the launch of Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters.
“We’re seeing more families choose South Korea for its energy, variety, accessibility and unique cultural experiences.” In Q1 of 2026, she says the Australasian market recorded a 33% year-on-year increase in families travelling to South Korea.”
“It’s a destination where you can move seamlessly from high-energy city experiences to nature, culture and hands-on activities for all ages.”
To support demand, InsideAsia has released the South Korea Family Adventure, designed for families with teens and older children. Highlights can include an e-bike tour, learning K-pop choreography, and sampling Seoul’s street food. Alternatively, Family Fun in Korea is designed for families with younger children, multi-generational groups or a mix of ages. InsideAsia has also released its 2027 South Korea small group tour dates with expanded capacity. There are now eight departures of the Soul of Korea itinerary and four departures of Majestic Korea.
Inside Travel Australia New Zealand trade partnership manager Shane Voss says it has upcoming training opportunities on the Inside Travel Agent Hub.
“We know South Korea can still feel unfamiliar for some clients, so we’re equipping agents with the tools and insights to confidently sell these experiences.”
Agents still have the chance to win an AUD40,000 trip by engaging with the training and making a booking, he adds. See details HERE.
