Seven Aussie Specialists from New Zealand have returned from a multi-state Australia famil, which included Vivid Sydney via a Captain Cook Sunset Dinner Cruise, and a private tour of the Australian War Memorial, including a Last Post Ceremony.
Alongside taking in Vivid, the group took a behind the scenes tour of the new Western Sydney International Airport, a private tour of the Art Gallery of NSW, explored the new Sydney Fish Market, took a Mittagong Mushroom tunnel tour and a gin blending masterclass at Millsheds Distillery. It was then onto Canberra, where highlights included a She Shapes History walking tour, an Art of Portraiture tour at the National Portrait Gallery and a Best of Parliament tour at Parliament House. There was also a truffle hunt and farm tour at Beltana Farm, and wine tasting and kangaroo spotting at Mt Majura Vineyard.
The famil was hosted by Destination NSW and VisitCanberra, Tourism Australia and Air New Zealand.
